Leadership is the ‘Displayed ability to influence and add value to others, without a need for authority’. ‘Others’ would include not just the leader’s team, the clients and every other stakeholder. Ability to influence is gained when the leader can build trust through managing relationships and, larger goals.
Though the definition looks simple, ability to influence and adding value to others involve a gamut of skills and mindset in the state of continuous development.
